Management of the state’s Crown Land is set to change following a pilot program conducted by four councils, including Tamworth’s.
They practiced different processes to manage, protect and transfer local lands, including showgrounds, race courses and community halls.
The Crown Lands White Paper received more than 600 public submissions, which will be used to simplify eight acts to just one.
