Two months after April’s cyclonic storm, Stockton Beach has reopened to the public.
Worimi Conservation Lands closed the recreational vehicle area following the wild weather, amid safety concerns and to protect cultural sites.
While the area’s now open again, the group says drivers should remain cautious and avoid travelling along the beach either side of high tide.
There are also three significant points between the Lavis Lane entrance and Anna Bay, which can be difficult to navigate.
