Hunter training providers are hoping to benefit from a jobs bonanza expected to be created by the National Broadband Network.
Regional development officials joined with education and training personnel in Newcastle today, to make a pitch for part of the $36-billion project.
Representatives from the network advised the group about the skills required for what could be a 20,000 strong workforce.
