A new generation of surf lifesavers were unmissable in hot pink today, as they hit the water at Diamond Beach for the start of nippers season.
The juniors put their board and surf skills to the test while gaining confidence in the water.
For many, Nippers becomes a Sunday morning ritual involving beach sprints, point score races and a whole lot more.
