Residents of Bowraville are being warned to expect traffic delays when work starts on the construction of a new bridge in the town next week.
The aging timber bridge will be replaced by a concrete structure which will be two metres higher than the existing bridge.
Road closure information will be displayed on several main roads leading to the town.
The work is expected to take around six months to complete.
