Defending champions the Newcastle Yowies are out of the Koori Knockout, beaten by the Doonside Brown Bears.
Gold Coast Titan Ash Taylor tried to get the Yowies back in it late, but after losing last year’s decider playing with Griffith, Cronulla Shark Andrew Fifita helped his Brown Bears advance to the semi-finals.
