Wild winds and rain battered the Tamworth region overnight, and the Bureau of Meteorology says we can expect more of the same tonight.

Large hail stones, damaging winds and heavy rain have been predicted for parts of the Northern Rivers and Northern Tablelands.
Residents are being urged to keep their cars away from trees and secure any loose items.
We’re also being advised not to walk, drive or ride through flood water.
