Kayakers have made a surprising discovery on the New South Wales Mid North Coast, coming across a parcel containing around 20 kilograms of cocaine.
The group made the discovery off the coast of Trial Bay on Wednesday morning, with police investigating whether it’s linked to the seizure of 600 kilograms of cocaine off Byron Bay earlier this year.
Anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area is urged to contact local police.
