A man has been charged after a siege operation at Bellbrook, north-west of Kempsey.
Police arrived at a property on Thungutti Street at 4:30 yesterday afternoon, wanting to speak with a 24-year-old man inside.
He refused to leave, more than 60 police were deployed.
The siege finally came to an end at 9.30 this morning.
The man has been charged with a range of offences including driving recklessly, contravening an apprehended-violence-order and possession of firearms.
He has been refused bail.
