TOUCH FOOTBALLERS KICK START STATE CAMPAIGN

Fourteen of the state’s best touch football players have met in Taree today, ahead of September’s National Youth Championship in Queensland.
The coach of the New South Wales Combined High Schools Open Boys Touch team says the focus at this stage is on group cohesion.
“We’re drawing from 10 regions from across NSW, 14 boys that were there from 140 were selected so it’s tough to get those combinations.”
More than half of the selected players are from the Hunter and North Coast regions.
