Lawyers leading the Newcastle Light Rail class action have filed papers in the Supreme Court, for a similar lawsuit involving Sydney businesses, allegedly crippled by the construction of the tram network there.
Mitry Lawyers claim both projects have been mismanaged, and they’re seeking millions of dollars in compensation from the state government, on behalf of their clients.
The firm hopes to commence the Newcastle lawsuit, within the next few months.
