FINAL FOUR SET IN NEWCASTLE NETBALL

Newcastle Netball’s final four is set after Forsythes beat Nova Thunder this afternoon, ending its play-off chances.

It was fourth versus fifth, and the game was close too.

Playing to keep its season alive, the Thunder was strong in defence, forcing a number of turnovers…

But struggled to convert at the other end.

No such trouble for Forsythes, who ran out 13-point winners.

They could jump BNC into third place in next week’s final round, after Souths locked down second.

Wests One were far too strong for the winless Pride, and Maryville Tavern beat Wests two.
