A ban on all fire permits remains in place for residents on the Mid North Coast.
Continuing dry and windy conditions are proving tough for fire fighters, who are battling more than a dozen blazes across the region.
The Rural Fire Service says the suspension of permits will continue until the area receives substantial rainfall.
