Merewether’s Philippa Anderson, has scraped through round four of the QS 6000 event in California.
Taking on Americans Lakey Peterson and Meah Collins, Anderson scored an early five point nine to put herself in contention, but then needed a late five point zero three to grab second in the heat.
She’ll now face fellow Aussie Nikki Van Dijk in round five.
