The Newcastle Jets have held their first training session in Spain as part of a pre-season trip.
Belgium-based midfielder Ronny Vargas has re-joined the squad for the first time since the A-League grand final.
The Jets will play three matches in Spain – including one against La Liga side, Getaffe.
