The fate of the Catherine Hill Bay jetty could be about to become clearer, with a community group requesting a 12-month interim heritage order.
The Catherine Hill Bay Progress Association is seeking support from Lake Macquarie Council for time to document the jetty, and consider ways of saving it.
A spokesperson for the jetty’s owner, Lake Coal, says the company is committed to working with all stakeholders.
