KNIGHTS’ DANNY LEVI UNDERGOES ANKLE SURGERY

A major blow for the Knights, with hooker Danny Levi undergoing surgery today on the ankle he injured against the Roosters.
“Still confirming a little more detail around it, but it’s looking like a 6-8 week injury. He’s done a fair job on his deltoid ligament with his ankle. We’re getting a bit more detail and follow-up scans today and some other opinions.”
With Slade Griffin unlikely to return from his ACL injury until late in the season, Jamie Buhrer could get increased game time in Levi’s absence.
