Concerned Armidale residents met with local police and councillors overnight to discuss crime concerns in the town.
Over the past few weeks there’s been a number of break-ins and robberies – particularly around the Girraween Shopping Village, on Queen Elizabeth Drive.
A lack of drug rehab facilities in the city was also a concern raised at the meeting.
The group is expected to meet again next month.
