Richmond Valley residents will no longer have to travel to Lismore to access free legal aid.
The Federal Government today committed $400 000 for the Northern Rivers Community Legal Centre to set up an office in Casino.
“It’s an area of high need but we are not seeing as many clients as we know we should be seeing and we think that’s the problem that they find very difficult for a variety of reasons to actually come to the Lismore office.”
