A man who allegedly attacked police in South Grafton before escaping custody has been recaptured.
30-year-old Ashley Walker appeared in court today on charges of escaping lawful custody, assaulting police, resisting arrest and stealing.
It’s alleged he assaulted police at a house in South Grafton early Thursday morning before escaping.
Police say he was detained last night in Grafton after a vehicle stop and foot pursuit.
