An 83-year-old man has been taken to Lismore Base Hospital suffering a head injury, after he was struck by a car at Ballina.
The accident happened just before midday on the corner of Cherry Street and Crane Street.
It’s understood the elderly man was conscious and breathing as he was treated by paramedics.
