Devastating news for Hunter rugby league star Caitlin Moran, she’s been ruled out of State of Origin and the inaugural women’s NRL premiership following confirmation she’s ruptured her ACL.
The 21-year-old Jillaroos halfback will have to undergo surgery, after injuring her knee while playing for Souths Logan in Brisbane last weekend.
It was expected Moran would be one of the first players signed for the women’s premiership, after recently relocating north of the border, with the Broncos and Roosters reportedly chasing her signature.
