MAN IN STABLE CONDITION AFTER CAR ROLLED ON TOP OF HIM

An elderly man has had a lucky escape in North Tamworth this morning after his car rolled on top of him.

It’s understood the Tamworth man, in his 70s, was trapped under the vehicle for a short time but was freed before paramedics arrived.

He was treated on the scene for injuries to his chest and lower limbs before being taken to Tamworth Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
