Newcastle trainer Ben Smith says his mare, In Her Time, has never travelled better, after being taken to Brisbane for Saturday’s Doomben 10,000.
Smith was happy to draw barrier eight for the $700,000 Group One race, while the Kris Lees trained Le Romain drew 13.
Lees will make a decision tomorrow on whether to send the horse to Queensland, or to Scone for the Luskin Star Stakes.
