A 29-year-old man has been charged in relation to an alleged assault in Newcastle last week, which left a man with a fractured skull.
It’s alleged a 20-year-old man was walking along Union Lane on Saturday evening when he was punched by another man.
Following an ongoing investigation the 29-year-old was arrested at Cabarita, on the New South Wales North Coast.
He was taken to Tweed Heads Police Station and charged with reckless grievous bodily harm.
