The Newcastle Jets have become only the second A-League side ever, to reach the Asian Champions League knockout stage, thanks to a one-nil win over Ulsan in Korea.
Newcastle only needed a draw to advance, but local junior Jason Hoffman ensured the Jets would return to Australia with all three points.
The Jets finished second in their group and will return to Korea on June 24, for a round of 16 knockout clash against the Pohang Steelers.
