More than 160 fit youngsters hit the the waters off Lennox Head today for a gruelling race that organisers are calling the ‘mini Coolangatta Gold.’
“A lot of these kids it’s their main sport and they train a lot through winter, they do a lot of endurance training they have this event now to basically show us what they’ve got.”
Northcliffe’s, Grant Harris took out the under 17’s male event while the female title went to Grace Rosato, also from the Gold Coast.
