A Lake Macquarie man has found a winning Keno ticket while cleaning out his car.
He’d entered the Keno 10 Spot at the Dora Creek & District Workers Club on June 23, and had no idea he was sitting on a win, close to $1.5 million.
“It really hasn’t sunk in yet,” he said, completely stunned. “I just play my same numbers – birthdays and ones that came to me and I’ve just played them for a little while.”
When asked how he plans to splash the cash, he said simply, “I’m sure it’ll come in very handy.”
