Community members are being invited to attend the official opening of the Liverpool Range Fire Control Centre tomorrow afternoon.
They’ll be able to explore the state-of-the-art building that is fully equipped the manage large scale incidents.
It’s fitted with the latest technology to ensure instant communication from the control centre to the fire ground.
A memorial garden dedicated to locals who have lost their lives on the job will also be unveiled tomorrow, long service medals awarded, and the hand over of new vehicles.
The ceremony begins at 2.30pm.
