In a bid to improve safety, Port Macquarie Hastings Council is modifying the traffic lights at the intersection of Gordon and Grant Street.
The $70,000 upgrade will include a right hand turning signal for traffic entering Grant Street from the town’s centre.
The traffic light poles will also be straightened during the works on Thursday night.
