A 36-year-old man has been arrested following an attempted robbery at the Park Beach Commonwealth Bank just after 9.30 this morning.
The man allegedly threatened and demanded money from the 21-year-old female teller who activated the hold-up alarm.
Police attended shortly after and the man was arrested inside the bank.
The man has been charged with intimidation and investigations are ongoing.
