A woman has had a lucky escape at Wingham, near Taree, after her vehicle became trapped in floodwater.
It’s believed she was moving cattle on a property, when the flood waters rose quickly around her.
She managed to escape from the car and swim to higher ground, where the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was able to retrieve her.
