WEATHER UPDATE: FOLLOW UP RAIN ON TRACK

Its looking more and more likely that follow up rain will fall at the end of the week. The catch is, it is set to crash the weekend for northern NSW and SE QLD.

A southerly has moved across the Hunter and MNC today (Tues 13th) and it will leave behind a trough. That trough will help produce showers and storms on and about the NSW ranges for your Wednesday. Some of that shower and storm activity is expected to spill over the coast in the afternoon.

On Thursday the trough will clear making for a mostly fine day but the heat will build.
During Friday a new system will move in from the SW affecting the Hunter at first before spreading north. This system will have the potential to produce widespread severe storms. The rain will continue to fall on Saturday especially for northern NSW and SE QLD.
