After its triumphant return to the rugby league calendar last year, organisers have once again been forced to cancel this weekend’s Steve Pepperell Charity Shield Day.
Hosted by the Kootingal Moonbi Roosters – the club says only ONE team responded to the invitation.
The pre-season competition has been replaced with a trial match between Kootingal and Murrurundi.
