Meanwhile Tamworth BMX racer Jack Davis claimed a podium finish in the first round of the National Series over the weekend.
Still recovering from a broken collar bone, Davis was unable to fully prepare for the meet.
But he still managed third place in Penrith in the 15 boys event.
The second round of the series will be held on April 21.
