HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS DANCE THEIR WAY TO NEW YORK CITY

Two high school students will soon be off to New York for a dancing adventure, after winning scholarships to at the Broadway Dance Centre.
New York choreographer Ashlee Dawson held a workshop for over 50 aspiring dancers at Oxley High School today.
“Today we did two workshops, the first workshop was a commercial latin fusion class, which is somethin I specialise in in New York City and the second one was a contemporary lyrical class.”
Abigail Smith won the scholarship for the latin fusion class, while Peel High School’s Brianna Dyson was successful in the contemporary lyircal style.
“It allows me to travel to Broadway Dance Centre to perform and do some classes.
