A nursing home in Newcastle has received an unexpected day visitor.
This is the moment 92-year-old Betty met her new bestfriend, Colby.
Betty’s life-long dream was to meet a roo…the Oakvale Wildlife Park more than happy to jump into action.
She had a snuggle and a gentle pat.
“He’s lovely isn’t he, his fur’s nice and soft.”
The roo then hopped over for an early bird dinner…with Betty bottle-feeding the eight-month old.
We’re pleased to say, Colby was a hit with all the other residents too.
