A Port Macquarie engineering company has welcomed the federal government’s recent announcement of a “defence export strategy”.
Loans will be offered to local businesses like ‘Bale Defence Industries’…to increase the country’s weapons production within the next decade and grow jobs.
The announcement comes as figures show a rise in unemployment locally, to 8.7% in the Coffs Clarence.
