WEATHER UPDATE – LET IT SNOW

12 October 2012
It has been an amazing day of rare October snow falling along the northern ranges. You can see some of the great photos taken by our viewers at www.nbnweathershots.com.au
Stage 3, the final stage of this system is now happening on this Friday evening. The east coast low is forming spraying the Central Coast and Hunter with showers and strong winds. The good news is that low will move away from the coast quickly allowing conditions to ease for the weekend. It will generate a large dangerous swell not good for offshore boating or rock fishing. The classic southern point breaks will be happening for experienced surfers.
Expect some cold nights and very chilly mornings but for most locations the sun will return making for a fine start to the weekend. A few coastal showers about on Sunday.
