In the lead-up to Australia Day, the debate over changing the date is causing a stir on the Central Coast.
Liberal politicians have taken to the streets, fighting to keep January 26 as the official date, while Aboriginal leader Sean Gordon maintains it’s a day of mourning.

Sean Gordon has done quite well out of appropriating European culture, no way he’s biting the hand that feeds him. History is history, move on.
The English have given Aborigines education, housing, clothes. welfare, better health.
It is obvious they do not want any of that, with all the whinging they do

Why would anyone want to celebrate genocide, rape, murder, slavery, segregation, racism! It’s a day of mourning for Aboriginal people. Its not Australian day! It’s Invasion Day!
