FRESH CALLS FOR MISSING NEWCASTLE MAN IN QLD

Police have issued a fresh call for public help, as they try to find missing Newcastle man, Jayden Penno-Tompsett.

The 22-year-old went missing south of Townsville, while on a road trip with friends.

“He was last seen in the Charters Towers area between 3am and 11am on the 31st day of December.”

Police say a witness saw a man, matching Jayden’s description, at a rural property outside Charters Towers, and are calling for the property owner to contact them.

They say it’s also possible he hitchhiked back to New South Wales, and is unaware he’s been reported missing.
