Rubber will be burning in Wingham tomorrow, as the Go Kart Club hosts the opening round of the Northern Zone Series.
Drivers took the opportunity to get a feel for the track today, with some practice laps.
The event has attracted some of the best drivers from Lismore to Tamworth and everywhere in between.
As for the ones to watch?
“Kodi Garland our local driver, Todd Stocks, Riley Rouse and there will be a couple from Coffs Harbour and a couple from Tamworth,” Manning Kart Club’s Darren Chick said.
With warm temperatures predicted organisers are expecting some record breaking lap times.
Competition gets underway tomorrow at 1pm.
