Police are appealing for information following an attempted break and enter in Armidale overnight.
Residents at a Wigan Ave address woke just before three this morning to find a number of people In their backyard.
It’s believed several windows were smashed and one of the offenders allegedly tried to gain entry to the house through a back door.
The offenders fled the scene before police arrived.
