Union members at John Hunter Hospital have joined the chorus of opposition, to the state government’s funding model for the new Maitland Hospital.
Around 30 people took part in a lunchtime rally today, calling on the Berejiklian Government to reverse its decision for a not-for-profit provider to build and operate the new facility.
Workers say they’re concerned about job security and nurse-to-patient ratios.
