Drug possession was the main reason for arrests in the first weekend of schoolies celebrations on the Gold Coast.
13 schoolies were arrested overnight on 16 offences, seven of which were drug possession.
11 others were issued with liquor infringement notices.
Meanwhile, 10 non-schoolies were arrested on 12 charges, mostly relating to public nuisance and drug possession.
