DEFIBS TO BECOME COMMON PLACE AT SPORTING GROUNDS

Defibrillators could become common place at sporting clubs across the state.
$4 million has been set aside for a government grant program that will help make sporting fields safer for spectators and players.
The program will fund half of the total cost of a defibrillator for any facility.
“Any sporting club that has any association with sport either direct or indirect should look at applying for the funding because this is a great opportunity, here in Myall Lakes we are the oldest electorate in New South Wales, the oldest population so there for a defib is something every club should consider having,” said local member Stephen Bromhead.
Two and a half thousand are set to be rolled out in New South Wales.
