COURT FOR ALLEGED MUSWELLBROOK ROBBER

A man that allegedly robbed two stores in Muswellbrook while armed with a knife will face an Upper Hunter court.

Police say the man held up a fashion store in Bridge Street on the morning of the 10th of October, before he allegedly threatened a staff member at a restaurant, also on Bridge Street, around midday on the 31st of October.

In both cases, the man allegedly took off with cash.

A 23-year-old man was arrested a home on Glenbawn Place in Muswellbrook yesterday morning.

He was charged with two counts of robbery armed with an offensive weapon, and will appear at Singleton Local Court today.
