The North Coast Dolphins have been eliminated from rugby league’s Country Championships, after their Northern Rivers rivals dished out a 56-14 flogging at Coffs Harbour yesterday.
The NRRRL rep side was way too classy for the combined Group 2-Group 3 outfit, scoring almost at will.
The Dolphins were trailing 32-nil well into the second half before they finally managed to get on the board.
Captain Matt Everett later admitted his side lacked intensity and enthusiasm.
I think they were just better at it than us I am not saying that we weren’t good at, but they were a lot better.
