POLICE APPEAL OVER DEATH OF COFFS MAN

It’s been confirmed a pedestrian who died after being struck by a truck on Wednesday night at Moonee, was a 40-year-old Coffs Harbour man.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the accident at around 7.30pm.
The man had reportedly been acting irrationally, staggering on the Pacific Highway.
A truck driver phoned police and told them he thought he had been involved in a collision.
He was question and subjected to mandatory blood and urine testing.
