The contract to see Bundarra’s sewerage scheme upgraded has been awarded to GHD Proprietary Limited.
The engineering consultants will see the concept and design work commence, seeking out suitable pump stations and treatment plant sites.
Uralla Mayor Michael Pearce says the project will assist in alleviating a number of environmental and health concerns that have occurred in the area over time.
Construction is not expected to commence until next year.
